NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED WATER AND SEWER RATE INCREASES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Kingsbury General Improvement District (“District”) will conduct a public hearing regarding proposed increases to water and sewer service rates pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 318.199.
The public hearing will be held as follows:

At the public hearing, the Board of Trustees will consider proposed adjustments to the District’s water and sewer rates to address increasing operational costs, infrastructure maintenance, capital improvement needs, and long-term financial sustainability of the utility systems.
The proposed rate adjustments are anticipated to become effective July 1, 2026, following consideration and possible adoption by the Board of Trustees.
Copies of the proposed rate schedules and supporting materials are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the District office located at 160 Pine Ridge Drive, Stateline, Nevada 89449, and may also be available on the District’s website at www.kgid.org.
All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and provide comments either orally or in writing. Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing to:
