Water System Tours

KGID recently completed the second round of water system tours for our new Trustees, Jessica Grime and John Shearer.

These tours are an important part of helping Board members fully understand the complexity, scale, and day-to-day operations of our water system. From source water and treatment to storage and distribution, seeing the infrastructure firsthand provides valuable insight that supports informed decision-making and responsible stewardship.

We appreciate Trustees Grime and Shearer taking the time to get out in the field and learn more about the system that serves our community every day. A strong understanding of our water system helps ensure we continue delivering safe, reliable water now and into the future.
