John Shearer Selected to Fill Board of Trustees Vacancy

At a special meeting held on December 22, 2025, the Kingsbury General Improvement District Board of Trustees selected John Shearer to fill the vacant seat on the Board created by the departure of Greg Felton.

Mr. Shearer has been an active member of the Kingsbury community for more than 40 years and brings extensive experience as a business leader, with a strong background in organizational management, hiring and retention, and staff development. His long-standing community involvement and familiarity with the District’s history and priorities were key factors in his selection.

The District welcomes Mr. Shearer to the Board of Trustees and looks forward to his service to the Kingsbury community.
